Art, Essay and Photography Competitions

Wildlife Clubs of Kenya organizes countrywide art, essay and photography competitions to schools. The competitions are open to pupils and students both in secondary schools as well tertiary level institutions. The competitions give a chance to the learners to address a specific conservation theme through drawing, writing and in photography. By participating, they express their inner aspirations and feeling on the conservation subject. An annual award ceremony is organised for the winners who also get a fully sponsored one week trip to a select Kenya’s National Parks or  reserves.

Award Ceremony

Every year winners of the national art and essay competition get an invitation for a colourful award ceremony at the WCK headquarters in Nairobi.

Trip to Conservation Area

After the ceremony, winners are given a fully sponsored trip to various conservation areas in Kenya for a given number of days mostly National Parks and Reserves amongst other areas of interests. It's always a memorable tour that brings the winners together as a family as they travel, learn and discover the country’s wildlife and attractions in a unique way as they make fun and enjoy.
